Your M-Pesa Payment Is Safe
You pay via Lipa na M-Pesa. Your money only moves to us once your order is confirmed in our system — not before. If anything fails on our end before production starts, you get a full refund directly back to your M-Pesa number. No questions asked. No delays.
This is non-negotiable for us.
You Get Exactly What You Ordered
We confirm your design, size, colour, and quantity before production begins. You receive an order confirmation email with everything listed. If what arrives doesn't match your confirmed order, we'll reprint or refund — your choice.
We don't argue about mistakes we make. We fix them.
Clear Delivery Timelines
We tell you exactly when your order will arrive before you pay. Standard delivery to Nairobi: 3–5 working days from production completion. Upcountry and same-day delivery options explained at checkout. If your order is significantly late (more than 3 days past the estimated date with no update), contact us and we'll investigate within 24 hours.

Fair Returns & Reprint Policy
Custom merch is made specifically for you — so we can't accept returns for 'changed my mind.' But we always accept returns for: wrong item sent, print quality defect, delivery damage, or item significantly different from confirmed design.
Email hello@designyangu.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and a photo. We'll respond within 24 hours.

"How do I know you're real and won't disappear with my money?"
Fair question. We're not anonymous. Design Yangu is built by Ian Mutai — find him on Twitter @IanMutai and Instagram. The company is registered in Kenya. We're not a pop-up shop. Also: you pay via M-Pesa, which has its own consumer protections. We never ask for card numbers, PINs, or anything outside the standard M-Pesa checkout.
"What if I don't like the design once it arrives?"
We share a digital proof (mockup) before we print for all orders above KES 2,000. For smaller orders, we confirm design details by email before production. You get a chance to approve before we touch a single fabric.
"What if my design doesn't print well on the product?"
We review every file for print quality before accepting the order. If your design is too low-resolution or won't print cleanly, we'll tell you before we start — not after. We'd rather lose a sale than send you something ugly.
"I've been scammed before by other Kenyan online shops. Why is this different?"
We're not going to pretend there aren't bad actors in this market. What we can tell you is: you can verify us on social media before paying, M-Pesa transactions are traceable, we publish real orders and customer photos (check our Instagram), and our support contact is a real person, not a dead email address.
"Can I visit your office or production facility?"
Currently we operate online. But if you're in Nairobi and want to talk through a large corporate order, Ian is happy to meet. Email hello@designyangu.com and we'll sort it.
